Xenon Vision HID kit install

Xenon vision contacted me about testing out their HID kit for the Subaru Outback. I decided to go ahead and give it a try, as to why not?

They sent out a kit with a 5k temperature (not a fan of blue).  The kit is a 100% complete easy to use installation with zero issues really.  From start to finish, even if you aren’t a mechanic it’s a 20 minute affair at most.  So far I haven’t had any issues.

The install was easy and fast, no big surprises.  Make sure you take a look at the video and see the whole review!

  1. I’m glad to see that they made it MUCH easier on the 2015 Outback to change the bulbs. I have a 2011 Outback and I had to take off the front clip to access the headlight assemblies so they could be removed to upgrade to an H.I.D. setup. I love how they look/work now, though. It was very much worth it.

      • I agree. If you’re just changing the standard bulbs, you can go up through the wheel sells to do so. Can be a real pain but after doing it a could times, I had it down to both sides in about 20 minutes. Was just a really bad engineering design from the get go. That’s about the only thing I’ve found that I don’t like on my 2011. I can live with that.
